Hextable Heritage Society
The Society was formed in 2000 by a small group of enthusiasts who were keen to discover more about their village.
We now have about 30 members and our area of interest has spread to cover not only Hextable, but the parishes near to us.
The aims and objectives of the Society are the protection, preservation and furtherance of knowledge of the local history
and heritage of Hextable and its surroundings. We participate in local and national events such as English Heritage's annual
'Open Days', have a year round programme of talks and visits, and maintain an archive of artefacts, documents and photographs
from the village's past which can be viewed on open days, or by prior arrangement with a committee member, at the Heritage Centre, Crawfords, off Dawson Drive.
